I recently wrote a blog post on the study from Lloyds Banking Group that says 28 million people in Britain use AI for personal finances.

As you'll see in the blog, the claim is open to challenge and appears to come from extrapolating the results of a survey of 5,000 digitally engaged people, and applying it to the overall UK adult population.

I've used ChatGPT before now to summarise credit card statements, so I guess I'm one of the people that does use it.
